A little piece of paradise! My husband and I spent a week of a 2 week trip at Tulemar. It was our 8th visit to the property, and just as wonderful as ever! The beautiful grounds, plentiful wildlife (visits daily from 3 types of monkeys, 2 types of sloths, and numerous birds), as well as the great staff have us coming back. Orlando was our concierge, and had just the right touch in suggesting restaurants, booking our transportation, if needed each evening, and booking the on-site sloth tour our first morning - which is a must-do. We chatted with him before we arrived, and he stocked our villa with snacks and drinks, which was perfect! Thank you Orlando, for making this yet another super visit to Tulemar - we will be back!

Simply wonderful! Wow. We loved this place so much. The beach? Awesome. I was nervous from photos that it not being a “Caribbean” beach would be lesser than, but that was the opposite. My kids (and us adults!) had an absolute blast. The sand was so soft. I loved that we didn’t have to haul beach gear because they had whatever we wanted there. The ocean is so warm.

We especially loved the Family and Jungle pools. They felt so natural and serene. We would text the restaurant and they would bring whatever we wanted very quickly. It felt so luxurious. Almost too easy to rack up a big tab at the end of your stay 😅.

My only qualm? This place is huge and extremely hilly. We love to walk and hike, but with the heat this is just on another level. We had a car with us so we could easily get to wherever we wanted. But if you’re hoping to walk everywhere, I just can’t imagine how that would go. It’s so much more sprawling than I imagined. The shuttle service was great, but just a forewarning if anyone has mobility issues, this may not be the place for you. We still had to walk down/up a large hill just to get to the nearest shuttle stop/parking area. If this is an issue, I’d highly recommend looking for one of the large homes that has their own parking spots within the homes. I don’t think this is the case for most of the smaller villas/bungalows.

Truly wonderful! Excellent stay! Beautiful facilities. Everyone’s was extremely friendly! Orlando was super responsive and helpful in all ways! Truly felt like a celebrity! Also extremely private! Set up was amazing.

Top tier service My family and I stayed at Tulemar this winter over the holiday season and had an incredible time. The propery is absolutely stunning, and filled with wildlife. We saw tons of birds and sloths, and it felt like the monkeys put on a show for us every evening in front of our balcony. Our concierge, Orlando, and his coworkers provided top tier service, ensuring we had everything we needed and providing great recommendations. We would love to come back again in the future!

Thankful for Tulemar experience Orlando was truly amazing. He was so kind, considerate and thoughtful about our stay, particularly about my mother’s birthday. He thought of delightful ways to celebrate her 80th birthday. Everything was perfect about our stay from the balcony with the ocean vista to the impeccable service.

Destination wedding perfection! A little piece of heaven on earth! We celebrated a destination wedding and it was perfect:) The beach area was decorated beautifully and all of the staff went way above to make sure all of us were happy.

Freddy was simply the best, better than all the rest! He made sure all of our needs were met whether it was a ride to town, an extra towel or recommendations for excursions and restaurants.

A must place to visit!

A magical resort Tulemar was magical. We have now spoiled ourselves, and we will measure all other warm-weather resorts against this magnificent place! We were a group of 8 who stayed at Nido de Gansos for a week, and we were captivated by the beauty of it. The kids enjoyed jumping in and out of the pool at will, and never tired of the daily visit from the monkeys. There was wildlife all around us (more than we saw when we visited the national park!), and we just loved seeing it all. The sloths visited us often, and we would sit on the patio for hours just taking it all in. We were well cared for by our concierge, Luis, and by all of the attentive cleaning staff. We had the particular pleasure of having a professional chef cook dinner for us while we watched the sun set, and we spent several lovely evenings on the beach. It was a vacation to remember, and the Tulemar did not disappoint! We will certainly let friends and family know of this gem!

Wonderful high end resort nestled in the jungle next to Manuel Antonio. Private beach, multiple pools, nice on property restaurant in private villas. Condos are unique so could be varying levels of modern or updated features, but ours was very nice. Saw macaws, sloths, and so many monkeys daily. More animals than at the actual park in a private setting! Wonderful place in paradise

Tulemar, Pazamore House Tulemar is an amazing destination and wonderful resort. Our family spent a week here and had a great time. the beach is amazing. The facilities are really well maintained, the people are wonderful and the service was phenomenal. We rented Pazamore, we highly recommend staying here. The home is unbelievable , the views are spectacular, we don’t want to go home! Grocery stores are close by and there are many awesome restaurants to choose from but something really fun to try is getting a chef to come to your house. We had Chef Chris come prepare dinner for us twice, and they were some of the best meals we’ve ever had. Highly recommend!!!

Amazing. Beautiful. Wonderful. My partner and I are Australian and stayed at Tulemar resort for 2 nights out of the 7 days we travelled Costa Rica. Due to how busy they were we had to split our stay into 2 different accomodation blocks (which we were more than happy to) and wished we could have stayed longer. Our first night was in a balcony room and the second in the non balcony room. Both rooms were beautiful! And our concierge Miguel was super helpful and able to assist with anything we required or needed throughout our stay! He ensured we had the most memorable time and we cannot thank him enough. Tulemar has so much to offer and if we ever find ourselves back in Cost Rica we will 100% be staying with Tulemar again.

Exciting. Fantastic view over the Pacific. The property was in fact a rather wild forest with monkeys, sloths, agoutis, toucans and chachalacas, Amazing indeed! In practice a nature reserve! I especially savour the two-toed sloth outside our house.

As beautiful and perfect as our villa was, it's the staff at Tulermar that made our trip memorable. Tulemar Resort offers luxury accommodations and an environment surrounded by nature, with monkeys, sloths, and toucans! The drivers are always available to transport you throughout the sanctuary. We enjoyed the Restaurant/Cafe and visited it often. A personal highlight for me was sitting in with the local musicians and playing music at the restaurant. Please visit and consider the ocean-view villas!
