Location is amazing. The Beach is beautiful. The complex is designed with environmental sensitivities in mind, which you’ll realize how important that is when you are there. The two onsite restaurants are amazing as well.

Blessings from God! Tular cafe is a great place for any meal. Ivannia was an amazing server, she really pause attention to detail. She made all of us feel right at home. Her recommendations were spot on as she really got to know us. I’d recommend this spot for views of the sunset, monkey spotting, and macaws! We are sad to leave, but grateful for each moment we were here!! Ivannia, you became family. Love you!

Amazing trip!!! Our stay at Tulemar Resort in Manuel Antonio was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, everything about the experience felt special. The property is stunning, with beautiful tropical surroundings, and a wonderful sense of privacy and tranquility. The location is perfect for exploring Manuel Antonio, but honestly, it was hard to leave the resort. The lush grounds are filled with wildlife and natural beauty. We loved being surrounded by tropical scenery and having the opportunity to see monkeys, sloths, and other wildlife right around the property. The staff were exceptional—warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay enjoyable. Every detail was handled with care, and the service made us feel truly welcomed. The accommodations were beautiful, comfortable, and spacious, and the views were spectacular. Watching the sunset over the Pacific was one of the highlights of our trip. Tulemar is more than just a resort—it’s an experience. If you’re visiting Costa Rica and looking for a place that combines incredible natural beauty, a beautiful beach, wonderful service, and a truly memorable atmosphere, I would highly recommend Tulemar. We loved every minute of our stay and can’t wait to return!

First-class luxury resort with plenty of amenities and friendly, service-minded staff. Freddy, our concierge, is amazing and was truly the icing on the cake, making everything about our stay all the better!! The wildlife was abundant right within the ground of the resort where you can enjoy 4 pools and a lovely beach with kayaks, boogie boards, etc. Tulemar is the kind of place you dream about.

un endroit incroyable au Costa Rica Tulemar resort est réellement un endroit incroyable. Les bungalows sont au milieu de la végétation où on croise paresseux, singes et oiseaux. Tout notre logement avait une vue magnifique sur la baie. Plage magnifique, service de navettes internes, concierge pour organiser les excursions, tout le personnel est aux petits soins et très réactif. Le complexe est à quelques minutes en voiture du parc Manuel Antonio. Tarifs élevés en conséquence.

Don’t miss the Tulemar Cafe! We stayed at Tulemar and ate many meals at the Tulemar Cafe; the food was always really good and the service was great! Especially with Daniel & Jose! The view is beautiful too!

Highly recommend Tule Cafe is clean, fresh, friendly, and beautiful! We enjoyed the most amazing first dinner here in Costa Rica and even enjoyed swimming in the pool right next-door. The staff special Ivannia was very friendly attentive and gave us all Pura Vida!!!

Pura Vida! We loved our stay at Tulemar. The place is a slice of paradise, beautiful with plenty of wildlife right there on the property. We saw sloths, monkeys, macaws, and lots of others. Rooms are very clean–we had a stunning view of the ocean. The resort is quite hilly, but no worries, ATVs pick you up at your bungalow and take you to restaurants, the pool, and the beach. It was great to go out in a kayak directly from the beach. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. We were there without a car and took a few tours which were also amazing. Pura Vida! We would definitely come back!

Had an excellent stay! Everyone was very helpful & friendly. Laura our concierge was responsive and assisted us during our stay. Loved being so close to nature. We had a sloth chilling right outside our bungalow. Beautiful and relaxing beach & pools. Several restaurants & shops were located within walking distance. Our tours were able to pick us up easily.

Honeymoon of our dreams Tulemar exceeded every expectation we had and made our honeymoon truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed, cared for, and genuinely valued. The entire experience was exceptional from beginning to end. We started our stay in the Monkitail Villa and then transitioned to a Bamboo Villa during our trip. The transition was completely seamless, and both villas were absolutely beautiful and felt like our own little piece of paradise. HIGHLY recommend bamboo villas for just couples/honeymooners! Every detail of the resort is thoughtfully done, and the setting is simply breathtaking. A huge part of what made our stay so special was our incredible concierge Raul. He went above and beyond for us throughout our entire stay. Raul arranged all of our excursions, helped us with anything we needed, and always made us feel like we were more than just guests — he truly made us feel like family. We cannot thank him enough for helping make our honeymoon so perfect (and we miss the brownie deliveries so much)! Every single day at Tulemar felt like paradise on earth. The beautiful jungle, incredible wildlife, stunning beach, wonderful accommodations, and exceptional staff made it so difficult to leave. We have been home for a little while now, and honestly, we already feel homesick for Costa Rica and Tulemar! That says everything about how special this place is to us. We are already looking forward to the day we can come back. If you have the opportunity to stay at Tulemar, DO IT. You absolutely will not regret it. Great resort, beautiful location, with walkable access to local stores and restaurants My family and I had an excellent time at Tulemar resort. Our room, Tule Casa, was extraordinary. It sits above the office at the main entrance, which seemed weird at first, but holy cow, the view was exquisite. And we had so much wildlife pass only a few yards in front of us off of the deck–lots of monkeys (capuchins, howlers, and squirrels), iguanas, an amazing sloth, and even an ant eater. The semi-private beach was clean and fun, with lots of water toys available to check out. It can be a long, steep trek from the front of the resort to the beach, but they run a regular shuttle service to make it easy. We didn’t eat much on the property because it was so easy to walk from the resort to one of the many local restaurants and grab a bite there. We loved it, highly recommend!

5 star family trip! Where do I start? Tulemar was our first stop in Costa Rica, and we loved it! Our concierge Laura was amazing and very attentive to all of my questions, including on the front end of the trip. She helped make reservations at multiple excursions for my family (8 year old and 5 year old) and made everything seamless. We stayed in the ocean view villa, and it was perfect for our family of four. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the patio and having access to a kitchen. We visited the cafe pool and the family pool and got to see howler monkeys and white-faced monkeys everyday! As for excursions, we opted for an ATV tour visiting a waterfall and the Manual Antonio National Park. Our guide were incredible – my kids still talk about them! We got to experience natural like we’ve never experienced before, and I’m so grateful we found Tulemar as part of our visit. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back!

Gorgeous resort. Our concierge Jorge was exceptional. I can’t add much more than what’s already been said, but the reason we selected Tulemar among a number of great options in the area was that The Sloth Institute Costa Rica was on the premises, and it did not disappoint. We spotted 11 sloths on the morning walk that Jorge arranged for us, including the beautiful Tilly, who is not only pregnant herself, but about to be a grandma. They truly care about nature and the natural environment of Costa Rica at Tulemar, and it shows.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in Villa Monkeytail! De villa was smetteloos schoon en ligt op het Tulemar Resort, waar je gebruik kunt maken van meerdere zwembaden, een restaurant en toegang hebt tot een strand. Het resort ligt in een tropische tuin waar je ook diverse dieren kunt spotten. Het zwembad vlak bij de villa was heerlijk rustig en schoon en vanuit de villa heb je een mooi uitzicht. Een extra compliment voor onze vriendelijke en behulpzame concierge Raul!

The staff were super nice and always willing to help, the shuttles were so convenient, the food was delicious and the animals were right there with us, beautiful view, if you want to be emerged in the wild life and still experience luxury this place is perfect, very happy with picking this spot! Dream Vacation, Unforgettable place! Incredible stay, beautiful setting, and amazing staff!! So much wildlife, in such a lush setting, saw so many monkeys daily on our balcony, macaws, and a few sloths!! 4 pools to choose from, dining was excellent and the exclusive beach was unreal. Everything we could of hoped for all in one place. Will cherish this holiday forever and highly recommend!

Bungalow adventure This adventure was nothing but amazing! It all started with the help of Miguel who was our concierge! He was amazing and helped our family navigate the way through this whole trip. Him and his team along with the shuttle drivers were all great and made our week here at the bungalow house everything we wanted it to be!
