In Tulemar Gardens, more than the other bungalows and accommodations, the jungle is your neighbour.

At any given time at Tulemar Resort, the surrounding jungle of Tulemar Gardens boasts an abundance of wild animals, including three of Costa Rica’s four native monkey species: mantled howler monkeys, Central American squirrel monkeys, and white-headed capuchin monkeys. And like all cheeky neighbours, these monkeys may attempt to borrow some of your belongings from time to time – be sure to keep an eye out 😉

It’s not all monkeys and trees here in Tulemar, however. We also have iguanas (black spiny-tailed iguanas and green iguanas), basilisks, white-nosed coti, and more snakes and bats than you can shake a stick at (note: do not shake sticks at snakes and bats) and that’s just the tip of the iceberg on land.

There’s even more beneath the sea, from dolphins and whales (depending on the time of year) to the countless varieties of fish, corals, you name it. It can be breathtaking, so don’t forget to come up for air from time to time.

One thing we can all agree on: Tulemar is wild – and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
