USA Drops COVID Testing Requirement

The sun is shining, and it’s time to hit the beach. Travelling to Costa Rica has never been easier! We have been anticipating your return to the award-winning Tulemar Resort Hotel.

As of June 12th, re-entry requirements into the United States have relaxed. A COVID-19 exam is not necessary upon arrival to the United States, and the Costa Rican government does not require visitors travelling by air, land, or sea to submit a negative COVID-19 test, nor does it require quarantine upon arrival.

If you live outside the United States or Canada and need a COVID test for re-entry, please tell our Front Desk, and we will make the necessary arrangements.

All COVID entry requirements and restrictions have been lifted.

  • Vaccinated and unvaccinated travellers are welcome
  • No COVID-19 test is required before travelling to Costa Rica
  • No COVID-19 insurance is needed
  • Face masks are optional

Costa Rica to Lift All COVID Entry Requirements

Effective April 1, 2022, international travelers arriving in Costa Rica will no longer need to complete the government’s Health Pass form, meet the vaccination requirements or purchase insurance coverage to enter Costa Rica.

The Government of Costa Rica does not require travelers entering by air, land, or sea to present a negative COVID-19 test, nor quarantine upon arrival.
